‘Lillypad Designs’ will be at Lavenham

Posted by Kylie on Tuesday 25th February 2014

Lillypad Designs create beautiful fizzy bath bombs and a variety of skin pampering bath and beauty products, here’s alittle about them….
“LillyPad Designs is my own company which has been in existence for about 5 years.  I have always loved the textures and scents (and effects) of hand made bath bombs and soaps, but as a member of the general public,  I was finding it difficult to buy good quality products locally for me to use myself.  Some discussion with friends and acquaintances revealed that they too loved the same sorts of products as me but could not easily buy them.  So, here I am, selling the products that my customers now love too!
The bath products on the Lillypad Designs kiosk are almost all hand made, and all of them produced in the UK.  The LillyPad Designs website has pictures of some, but not all and gives some indications of prices.  All of the stock for sale is produced from high quality ingredients resulting in superior quality products.  There should be something for even the most discerning of customers!”

‘Pavel Kricka Photography’ will be at the Spring craft fair at Lavenham

Posted by Kylie on Thursday 13th February 2014

“I have been taking photographs since I was 14 but never really understood what I was doing, I knew how to get a picture but not how to make a photograph. My early artistic influences were surrealists particularly Paul Klee, potters Bernard Leech, Shoji Hamada and Lucie Rie, I have a fascination with Japanese culture and its minimalistic art, I hope this comes through in my photographs!
My major interest is basketball, I coach, but mostly I photograph gameson every weekend in the season. This presents its own challenges, staying focused on catching the moment rather than watching the game. I post my work on Flikr and Tweet the most memorable pictures with what I hope is a witty comment, these pictures sometimes make the local press. You can buy my pictures by contacting me via e-mail or using the on line shop. All pictures are printed on smooth art matte or photo satin paper using a high quality ink jet printer and UV stable ink and are supplied with a matt suitable for 14″ x 11″ or 25″ x 15.5″ frames. The 14″x 11″ are available for £30 and the larger size is £50.”

I am also available for commercial, private or portrait assignments.

A new year with lots of new dates!

Posted by Kylie on Monday 10th February 2014

We are now into February and it is time to start our crafter blog for our first event, the Spring craft fair in Lavenham on the 16th March 2014.  We are very excited about this event which follows on from our Christmas craft fair at Lavenham last November.  This fair was a great success and had a great attendance and finished the year on a real high!

So, over the next few weeks I will add crafters to the blog to give you an idea of what to expect at the fair.

Our first crafter is…

“The Portly Gourmet began with me making my own relishes and chutneys for myself and friends to enjoy with all kinds of food.  In the case of my red onion chutney to accompany our favourite cheeses amongst other things!  In Portly Gourmet relishes and chutneys I only ever use the freshest ingredients, sourced locally to ensure the best flavours in every single jar.  The Portly Gourmet can be found around the eastern region at food and craft fairs.”
